Gutatte Psoriasis

Guttate is the second most common form of Psoriasis. Roughly 2 - 3% of people affected with Psoriasis suffer from Guttate Psoriasis. In contrast to Plague Psoriasis, most people affected by Guttate Psoriasis are under 30.

Guttate Psoriasis is caused by a streptococcal infection. Steptococcus is a genus of bacteria belonging to the phylum Firmicuted and the lactic acid bacteria group.

Usually the eruption of Guttate Psoriasis follows an infection of Strep Throat by 2 to 3 weeks. Very often the Guttats Psoriasis will simply run its course without treatment and disappear on its own.

Guttate Psoriasis affects the skin with small, red spots on the skin. Commonly these small red spots will have a very fine scales which are much lighter and finer than those caused by Plague Psoriasis. The red sopts caused by Guttate Psoriasis usually occur on the trunk, legs and/or arms but can appear elsewhere on the body. Guttate Psoriasis rarely covers a large area of the body.

Treatments for Guttate Psoriasis
Most of the time the best treatment for Guttate Psoriasis is time.
